Ezili corporation is a small non-profit based in NYC. Our aim is to support sex workers by providing peer mentoring and grant/employment opportunities. We are pro-sex worker and are not trying get anyone to stop doing what they do. Ezili is run by ex-sex workers only, and our aim is to advocate for clients, especially in regards to their long term financial stability. When/if you are ready to transition into another career, it can be challenging. Ezili’s free services include the following grant opportunities which are provided for through our partnership with Tarp Inc. Tarp, Inc. trains individuals, so that they may become licensed addiction and recovery professionals. After completing coursework, and passing a test, students will receive a CASAC-T certificate.
Grant Opportunity Rules: CASAC-T Certification Class at TARP, Inc.
Purpose
This grant opportunity, provided by Ezili Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting sex workers in transitioning to new careers, aims to fund three individuals to attend TARP, Inc.’s CASAC-T certification program. This program equips participants with the skills and qualifications to become Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors in the state of New York.

- Grant Amount: $4,500.00 each
- Designated Recipients:
- One grant is designated for a woman of color.
- All recipients must be cisgender or transgender women.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be current or very recent sex workers seeking to transition into a new career.
2. Be residents of New York State.
3. Demonstrate a strong desire to pursue this opportunity.
4. Have the ability to complete the CASAC-T course, which can be taken online or in person at a self-paced schedule.
Application Requirements
To apply, submit a (minimum) one-page (single spaced-around 500 word) essay that includes:
-Your name, birthdate, address and email.
- Who you are: Share your story, background, and experiences. This should include the length of time you’ve been engaged in sex work, and the type (exotic dancer falls under this category as well as Only Fans performer).
Why you want this grant: Explain your motivation for pursuing CASAC-T certification.
What you will do with this opportunity: Describe how this opportunity aligns with your career goals and personal growth.
Include any other info that makes you situation special-are you a parent? An illegal immigrant? Why should you be chosen for this grant?
Evaluation Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
1. Their desire and commitment to the program.
2. Their ability to successfully complete the CASAC-T course.
3. Their alignment with the goals of Ezili Corporation’s mission to support sex workers’ career transitions.
Submission Deadline
- Applications must be submitted by March 1st, 2025.
Grant Conditions: Recipients will be required to enroll in TARP, Inc.’s CASAC-T class and complete the program at their own pace, either online or in person.
